We play with therapy and gaming to unlock the extraordinary.
Driven by Play. Guided by Therapy.
At Mud Club, we are committed to crafting immersive therapy experiences that ignite a passion for exploration and growth. Our group therapy adventures offer opportunities to explore, learn, and thrive in nurturing, natural social environments, empowering members to discover their voices and advocate for themselves. By promoting collaboration and teamwork, we cultivate a sense of community where every idea is valued, and every voice is heard. With challenges designed to match each child’s unique interests and abilities, our approach inspires self-discovery and strengthens self-confidence.
Mud Club began as Muddy Moose Occupational Therapy, a pediatric practice supporting autistic children. As our methods evolved, so did our approach. We've transformed our adventure therapy model into an exciting online experience. Mud Club is now more than therapy — it's a vibrant community where adventurous spirits connect and flourish in a dynamic, multi-user dimension!
Learn It. Play It. Live It.
Skill Building Sessions
Small Groups. Strong Foundations.
In therapist-led small groups (about 5 members), participants learn essential life and gaming skills through structured, supportive play.
Therapists explicitly teach and coach:
Executive functioning (planning, flexibility, regulation)
Social skills (communication, teamwork, turn-taking)
Group & gaming etiquette
Digital literacy & online safety
Neurodiversity awareness
Skills are practiced in real time, creating a solid foundation for success in larger Clubhouse environments.
This is where skills are taught—so they’re ready to be used.
Clubhouse Stream
Shared Play, Guided Collaboration
The Clubhouse Stream brings members together in a larger, streamer-led gaming experience focused on collaboration, challenges, and shared goals.
In this space, members:
Work together on quests and challenges
Practice communication and cooperation in real time
Use problem-solving and flexible thinking
Apply social and digital skills in a dynamic group setting
Therapists actively guide gameplay, model positive interactions, and support members as skills are applied in a more complex social environment.
This is where skills are strengthened through teamwork and shared experiences.
The Clubhouse
A Natural Social Gaming Space
The Clubhouse is a private Mud Club gaming environment where members can connect and play independently.
It’s a great place to use and practice the skills learned in small group sessions and the Clubhouse Stream, allowing members to:
Practice social skills in a natural, peer-based setting
Navigate group dynamics and shared play
Use emotional regulation and flexibility during games
Apply digital etiquette in real time
Clubhouse spaces are private, supported, and regularly monitored by the Mud Club team.
This is where skills are practiced naturally—just like real life.
What Makes Mud Club Different
Taught. Practiced. Applied.
Mud Club is intentionally designed to help skills stick—not just be taught.
Our model follows a clear progression:
Taught in therapist-led small group skill-building sessions
Practiced in supportive, real-world gaming environments
Applied through social play, collaboration, and shared experiences
Every space is purpose-built to support growth, confidence, and connection—using gaming as a meaningful and motivating tool.
This is therapy that goes beyond learning—into real life.
