Super Sportsmanship: Playing with Respect and Integrity

This week at Mud Club, we’re leveling up our sportsmanship — learning how to celebrate wins graciously, handle losses with resilience, and treat every teammate and opponent with genuine respect. 💜 Members will practice gratitude in action, both during gameplay and at the end of every session.

This Week’s Activities

🏡  Build Challenge  —  Summer Splash

⛏️  Survival Quest  —  Team Trial Chamber

🕶️  Quest VR Spotlight  —  Hyper Dash

🎥  Stream Adventures  —  Waves of Chaos and Other Hosted Games

🧰  Weekly Tool Idea  —  Exploding Kittens

💡 Why This Theme Matters

Sportsmanship is about more than winning or losing — it’s about showing up with integrity and kindness no matter the outcome. When kids practice saying thank you, acknowledging great plays, and managing disappointment with grace, they’re building emotional regulation and relationship skills that last far beyond the game.

Ways to Support at Home

  • Model sportsmanship at home — talk about how you handle winning and losing

  • Encourage your child to name one thing a teammate or opponent did well after a game

  • Avoid focusing only on the outcome — ask about how they played, not just whether they won

  • Celebrate effort and attitude as much as results

Try Asking Your Child

“Who did you thank after a game this week — and how did it feel?”

“What’s one thing you noticed a teammate do really well?”

Great sportsmanship is a superpower — it makes teammates want to play with you again and turns even tough losses into meaningful experiences. This week, your child is building the kind of integrity that wins in games and in life. 🎮💜
