Driven by Play.

Guided by Therapy.

Mud Club began as Muddy Moose Occupational Therapy, a pediatric practice built around adventure therapy. As our methods evolved, we brought that approach online. Today, Mud Club is a community where kids and teens connect, play, and grow, guided by our therapy team.

OUR APPROACH

Every Member, Their Own Way

At Mud Club, therapy happens in natural social spaces where kids and teens explore and learn together.

Every challenge is shaped around each member's interests and abilities, so everyone can take part in their own way.

Through teamwork, members build a community where every voice is heard. Along the way, they discover their strengths and learn to speak up for themselves.

HOW IT WORKS

Learn It. Play It. Live It.

Members move through three connected spaces, each with its own purpose.

LEARN IT

Skill Building Sessions

Small groups of about five members, led by our therapy team. Skills are taught directly and practised in real time, with close support.

Therapists explicitly teach and coach:

  • Executive functioning (planning, flexibility, regulation)

  • Social skills (communication, teamwork, turn-taking)

  • Group & gaming etiquette

  • Digital literacy & online safety

  • Neurodiversity awareness

PLAY IT

Clubhouse Stream

A larger group experience, guided live by our therapy team. Members team up on quests and challenges, putting their skills to use with others.

In this space, members:

  • Work together on quests and challenges

  • Practice communication and cooperation in real time

  • Use problem-solving and flexible thinking

  • Apply social and digital skills in a dynamic group setting

LIVE IT

The Clubhouse

Mud Club's private gaming space, monitored by our team. Members connect and play on their own terms, using what they've learned just like in real life.

  • Practice social skills in a natural, peer-based setting

  • Navigate group dynamics and shared play

  • Use emotional regulation and flexibility during games

  • Apply digital etiquette in real time

What Makes Mud Club Different

Taught. Practised. Applied.

Three connected icons along a dotted path: a compass for learning, a game controller for practising, and a star badge for applying skills.

At Mud Club, skills aren't taught once and left behind. Members learn them, practise them with others, then use them on their own, all within one connected community.

That's how growth carries over into everyday life.

MUD CLUB XP

Turn Effort into Mud Club XP

Members earn Mud Club XP for effort, growth, and participation, both at Mud Club and at home.

It turns everyday progress into something they can see and celebrate.
