The Social XP: Leveling Up Social Skills in Gaming

This week at Mud Club, we’re earning Social XP — practicing the real-world social skills that make multiplayer gaming (and everyday life) so much richer. 💜 Members will focus on sharing, connecting, and contributing, whether that’s passing along a great tip, making a trade, or simply showing up as a supportive teammate.

This Week’s Activities

🏡  Build Challenge  —  Shopping District: Popular Restaurant or Store

⛏️  Survival Quest  —  Complete a Trade with Another Member on Secret Springs

🕶️  Quest VR Spotlight  —  Beat Saber

🎥  Stream Adventures  —  The King’s Prison Tower Quest

🧰  Weekly Tool Idea  —  Kan Jam

💡 Why This Theme Matters

Social skills aren’t just for the playground — they’re practiced and strengthened every time kids engage in cooperative, multiplayer, or community-based gaming. Sharing tips, initiating trades, and being a positive presence all reinforce the same skills kids need to build and maintain friendships in real life.

Ways to Support at Home

  • Ask your child about any new connections or interactions they had in-game this week

  • Encourage them to share something they’re good at with a friend — a game tip, a strategy, or a skill

  • Talk about what it means to be a good gaming community member

  • Notice and name social moments at home — “That was really thoughtful of you to share that.”

Try Asking Your Child

“Did you share a tip or help someone level up this week — what happened?”

“What’s one thing that makes you a good gaming teammate?”

Every interaction in a game is a chance to practice being the kind of person — and player — you want to be. This week, your child is earning Social XP that goes way beyond the screen. 🎮💜
