Game On, Play Nice: Mastering Gaming Etiquette 

This week at Mud Club, we’re focusing on the little choices that make someone great to game with. 🎮🤝 Members will practice kindness, respectful communication, and positive reactions that help everyone feel welcome in shared gaming spaces.

💡 Why This Theme Matters 

Gaming etiquette is really relationship-building in action. Saying GG, giving someone space, responding respectfully, and sending an encouraging message may seem small, but these habits shape how safe and enjoyable a gaming community feels. 

Ways to Support at Home 

• Encourage a quick “GG” or thank-you after multiplayer games  

• Talk about what makes someone enjoyable to game with  

• Notice respectful communication, not just gaming performance  

• Discuss how tone can be harder to interpret online  

Try Asking Your Child 

“What makes someone fun to game with?” 

“What’s one kind thing you could say to another player after a game?” 

Good gaming etiquette doesn’t require perfect social skills — just an awareness that how we play affects the people playing with us. 🎮💜
